About the Host: Scott holds a Bachelors in Management Information Systems and three (3) Masters, one in Secondary Education, one in Organizational Development and one in Educational Leadership. Scott has been a business teacher at Columbia High School where he teachers; Computer Technology, Desktop Publishing, Career Awareness and Personal Finance. He is state certified for both Supervisor and School Principal/Administration. Scott’s commitment to improving the lives of others took a personal turn when his youngest child was born with an intellectual disability. As a result, Scott has spent nearly the last 20 years focused on advocacy work for those with disabilities. He was the founder and Chair of the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Special Education Parents Advisory Group (SEPAG) where he received formal recognition from the schools Superintendent and Special Education Leadership for his work in improving the Special Services at the school. Scott is currently the Vice Chair of the Regional Family Support Council #5 which over sees three counties Chair of the Hunterdon County Human Services Advisory Council and sits on the RWJ Pediatric Medical School Boggs Center Consumer Advisory Council. Scott was a graduate of the first cohort out of the Boggs Center Partners in Policy Making (PIP) in 2017.
